EVANSTON, Ill. — On the heels of back-to-back wins against at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium, No. 10 Northwestern will host No. 4 North Carolina in front of a national audience Sunday afternoon.
The game will kick off the Big Ten Network's coverage of women's lacrosse with the opening draw scheduled for noon. Mike Wolf and Sheehan Stanwick Burch will be on the call for BTN.
The Wildcats opened Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium last week with a pair of wins over Marquette, 17-11, and No. 10 Stony Brook, 7-6. They enter Sunday's matchup with an even 3-3 record while the fourth-ranked Tar Heels are 6-2 overall following a 13-2 win over Elon Tuesday.
Seating at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium is general admission for the 2016 season. Single-game tickets are available for $7 adult, $5 youth/senior and $3 groups (15 or more).

AGENT DOUBLE ZERO
Sophomore Corinne Wessels was held scoreless through the first four games of the season before breaking out in the Wildcats' two wins last week. Wessels scored a career-high four games in the 'Cat' 17-11 win over Marquette before adding two more goals in their 7-6 victory over No. 10 Stony Brook.
HOME SWEET HOME
Northwestern opened Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium with a pair of wins last week and will continue its four-game homestand against No. 4 North Carolina this Sunday before hosting Colorado on March 24. Chicago's Big Ten Team is an astonishing 112-8 (.933 winning percentage) at home since 2004.
"WIN THE DRAW, RULE THE WORLD."
The Wildcats and sophomore Shelby Fredericks seemed to find their rhythm in the draw circle last week, outdrawing their opponents 31-18 over the two games. Fredericks matched her career high and the second-best mark in a single game with nine draw controls against Marquette before pulling in five against Stony Brook. Classmate Selena Lasota also set a new career high last week with seven draw controls against the Seawolves.
CAPTAIN CRAIG
Senior attacker and captain Kaleigh Craig has scored at least two goals in five of the first six games this season, including the game winner in the Wildcats' 7-6 victory over No. 10 Stony Brook. The Wantagh, New York, native leads the Wildcats with 12 goals this season and is also the team's active goal leader with 93 career tallies. Despite being held without a goal against Louisville, Craig has an impressive run of scoring at least two goals in 17 of her last 19 games dating back to March 29 of last season.
LOCK DOWN D
Junior defender Jasmine Docal made her first career start against Stony Brook and was up to the challenge of employing a faceguard on Seawolves' point leader and Tewaaraton Award Watch List member Kylie Ohlmiller. Docal played all 60 minutes of the contest and held Ohlmiller without a shot and point for the first time in her career (24 games).
STREAKING
In addition to her dominant play in the draw circle last week, sophomore Shelby Fredericks has also matched her career high with a five-game point streak. Since behind held without a point in the season opener, Fredericks has five goals and five assists, including a pair of games against Virginia and Louisville in which she scored a pair of goals.
GO, GO ESPO
Junior captain Christina Esposito has found her stride to start the 2016 season, recording at least two points in five of the Wildcats' first six games. The fourth-year junior leads the 'Cats in assists (6) and caused turnovers (8), is second on the team in points (13) and has already matched or set new career highs in goals (3 at Syracuse), ground balls (4 vs. Virginia) and caused turnovers (3 vs. Virginia).
