EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern will continue its four-game homestand at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium on Saturday when it hosts No. 10 Stony Brook at noon.

The Wildcats (2-3) opened Martin Stadium Tuesday with a 17-11 victory over Marquette, while the Seawolves (2-1) are coming off a 13-7 victory over Yale.

Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium features a new play surface, bleachers, scoreboard and audio system. Construction is ongoing so fans are encouraged to park in the surface lots north and west of the field. Parking in those two lots is limited and additional parking is available in the Henry Crown Sports Pavillion parking garage for free on Saturday.

When fans arrive to the venue, they should enter the stadium at the northeast corner near the scoreboard and follow the sidewalk to the northwest corner to enter the stadium. Signage will be on location to assist fans into the venue.

Seating at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium is general admission for the 2016 season. Single-game tickets are available for $7 adult, $5 youth/senior and $3 groups (15 or more).

CAPTAIN CRAIG
Senior attacker and captain Kaleigh Craig has at least two goals in four of the first five games. The Wantagh, New York, native is the team's active leading goal scorer and is just nine goals shy of 100 for her career. She has scored at least two goals in 16 of her last 18 games dating back to March 29 of last season.

HOME SWEET HOME
After playing four-straight road games against ranked ACC opponents to start the season, the Wildcats are in the midst of a four-game homestand at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium. The 'Cats opened Martin Stadium with a win over Marquette and after playing Stony Brook will also host North Carolina (3/20) and Colorado (3/24). A second four-game homestand will come in April with games against Michigan (4/7), Notre Dame (4/10), USC (4/15) and Rutgers (4/17).

GROUND GAME
Seniors Emily Eichner and Spring Sanders helped the 'Cats have a favorable edge in ground balls on Tuesday. Eichner set a new career high with five and Sanders matched her career high with three.

"WIN THE DRAW, RULE THE WORLD."
The Wildcats have battled in the draw circle this season, but may have seen the momentum turn in the second half of Tuesday's game versus Marquette. Sophomore Shelby Fredericks helped the 'Cats finish the second half with a 14-1 edge and 18-12 advantage overall, matching her career high and the second-best single-game mark in program history with nine draw controls. Senior Lauren Murray and redshirt freshman Olivia Harpel each also had season highs with three and two draws respectively.

AGENT DOUBLE ZERO
Sophomore Corinne Wessels had been held scoreless through the first four games of the season, but came through in a big way Tuesday with a career-high four goals in the 'Cats win over Marquette. Wessels scored a pair of goals in each half and went a perfect 2-for-2 in free-positions opportunities. She also had an assist in the contest to finish with five points, her second most in a game in her young career.

GO, GO ESPO
Junior captain Christina Esposito has found her stride to start the 2016 season, recording at least two points in four of the Wildcats' first five games. The fourth-year junior leads the 'Cats with five assists this season and has already matched or set new career highs in goals (3 at Syracuse), ground balls (4 vs. Virginia) and caused turnovers (3 vs. Virginia).

SCOUTING STONY BROOK
The Seawolves enter Saturday's game ranked No. 10 in the IWLCA poll with a 2-1 record following a 13-7 win over Yale. Dorrien Van Dyke and Courtney Murphy have each scored nine goals through the first three games, while Tewaaraton Award Watch List sophomore Kylie Ohlmiller has six goals and a team-high six assists. Anna Tesoriero has played 146:48 of the 180:00 minutes in cage, posting a 6.13 goals-against average and .483 save percentage against 37 shots faced.
