EVANSTON, Ill. - The Wildcats head to Lincoln, Neb., on Sunday, Feb. 28, for their regular-season finale against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Tip is set for 3 p.m., and will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network.
HEAD TO HEAD
• Nebraska leads the all-time series with Northwestern, 7-5.
• Northwestern is 4-3 overall againt the Cornhuskers since Nebraska joined the Big Ten.
• Northwestern has won three-straight contests against Nebraska, including an 85-62 win over the Cornhuskers on Jan. 3, at Welsh-Ryan Arena
B1G RECORD BREAKER
Ashley Deary broke the Big Ten single-season steals record against Michigan with 125 steals. She finished the game with 126 total steals on the season so far and is just 77 shy of breaking the conference career steals milestone.
LAST TIME OUT AGAINST NEBRASKA
Northwestern rolled to its first Big Ten win of the season in an 85-62 blowout over the visiting Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday, Jan. 3. Four Wildcats scored in double figures for the 10th time this season with Nia Coffey and Christen Inman leading the way with 25 points apiece. Inman sank a career high five three-pointers. The Wildcats grabbed a season high 57 rebounds in the win. Coffey led all players with 17 rebounds.SCOUTING NEBRASKA

• Nebraska is 17-11 overall in the 2015-2016 season and 8-9 in Big Ten play. The Cornhuskers have lost five of their last six games.
• Freshman Jessica Shepard leads the team scoring an average of 19.7 points per game ranking her in the top 40 in the country. She recently posted her Nebraska freshman-record 10th double-double in the game against Purdue. Shepard also leads the team in rebounds per game with 8.8.
• Sophomore Natalie Romeo leads the team in 3-point field goals made and also ranks No.27 in the with a 41.3 3-point FG percentage.
• As a team the Cornhuskers rank No. 13 in three-point field-goal percentage and No. 20 in field-goal percentage in the nation.
• Rachel Theriot is another key offensive player for the Cornhuskers. The senior leads the team in assists with 7.3 per game, landing her the #4 spot in the country. She also holds the highest three-point percentage on the team at .419.
