Wildcats Battle Badgers Saturday in Madison

EVANSTON, Ill. - As the Wildcats wind down their regular-season slate, the squad will head north to Madison, Wisc., for a Saturday matchup against the Badgers. Tip is set for 1 p.m., and will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network.
FACEOFF FACTS
Northwestern and Wisconsin take to the hardwood for the 67th time on Saturday, as the 'Cats own the overall series, 35-31. This is the first meeting between the two squads this year.
THREES COMPANY
The Wildcats have tallied at least five 3-point field goals in all but five games so far this season, including 15 games with seven or more and three games with double-digit trifectas. Christen Inman, who recorded five triples against Nebraska, and Maggie Lyon, who tallied five against Creighton and No. 5 Ohio State, are the only two players to record at least five 3-pointers in a single game so far this season.
MINUTEWOMEN
Northwestern's four primary starters - Nia Coffey, Maggie Lyon, Christen Inman and Ashley Deary, have combined to play over 70 percent (3,812 of 5,449) of the possible minutes this season, while scoring 85 percent of the points (1,730 of 2,042). All four players have started in every game this season. All four have played at least 900 minutes with Lyon and Imnan logging the most thus far at 980 minutes each (36.2 per game). The duo ranks fourth in the Big Ten in minutes played.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB, INMAN
Christen Inman is the newest Wildcat to join the 1,000-career point club. The junior finished against Minnesota (2/7/16) with 1,001 career points to become the third active Wildcat to accomplish the feat, alongside Nia Coffey and Maggie Lyon.

Notables
• Senior Michala Johnson has recorded three-straight double-doubles for the first time in her career. The 6-3 forward had 19 points and 13 rebounds against Purdue, 15 points and 13 rebounds at Michigan, and 16 points and 10 rebounds at Indiana. On the week, Johnson averaged 16.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game while shooting 56.4 percent.
• After failing to outrebound a Big Ten foe, Wisconsin has outrebounded two of its last three opponents. UW outboarded Purdue 39-28 on Feb. 8, its second-best rebounding advantage (+11) of the season. After equalling Michigan in rebounds on Thursday, 28-28, the Badgers outrebounded Indiana 38-32 on Sunday. Over the last three games, Wisconsin has a 35.0 - 29.3 advantage on rebounds.
• Redshirt junior Avyanna Young has scored in double figures the last two games, marking just
the second time this season she has back-to-back 10-plus point games. The 6-1 forward had a season-high 16 points at Michigan on Feb. 11 and added 10 points at Indiana on Sunday. Over the two games, Young is averaging 13.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
• In 10 losses this season, UW has been within single digits in the last quarter of play. The Badgers have been within five points in the final period in five games, including Sunday's game at Indiana.
