EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern takes its 9-1 record on a west coast road swing this weekend when it faces Santa Clara on Saturday and Gonzaga on Monday. The road trip marks the final away games of the non-conference schedule for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats (9-1) will take on the Broncos (4-3) Saturday at 3 p.m. CT and the Bulldogs (7-2) Monday at 8 p.m. CT. Both games will be streamed live on the WCC Network.

Both Northwestern and Gonzaga are receiving votes in the AP and Coaches Top-25 polls this week.

BLOCK PARTY
Northwestern ranks second in the country and first in the Big Ten in blocks per game (7.3 bpg). The Wildcats have registered double-digit blocks twice and have had six or more on eight different occasions. Nia Coffey and Lauren Douglas are tied with a team-high 16 for the year, and 13 Wildcats have registered at least one block.
GRAND THEFT ASHLEY
Ashley Deary, who owns the top three NU single-season steals records, career record and Big Ten single season record, is just 21 steals shy of breaking the Big Ten career record of 372. She is also the nation's current active career steals leader with 352 and leads the category by 59.
A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
Northwestern ranks 16th in the country and second in the Big Ten in assists per game (18.6 apg), as the Wildcats have registered at least 20 assists in five games and have double-digit assists in every game this year. Ashley Deary leads the Big Ten and ranks 21st nationally in assists per game (6.3 apg) and is the NCAA's active career leader in the category with 653 career assists.
