Northwestern Men's Basketball Sets 2016-17 Radio Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern Men's Basketball has set its radio schedule for the 2016-17 campaign. This season's slate is primarily being split between 720 WGN and ESPN 1000, while three additional contests are airing on either 1160 WYLL or 560 WIND.
Returning for his 21st season as the Voice of the Wildcats is Northwestern alum and Hall-of-Famer Dave Eanet. Former DePaul head coach Joey Meyer is back for his third straight season on analyst duties.
The radio schedule tips off with the regular-season opener vs. Mississippi Valley State on Friday, Nov. 11 which airs on ESPN 1000. The first contest to air on WGN is a Nov. 14 matchup against Eastern Washington
In all, 16 regular-season contests are set air on WGN, 10 are being broadcast by ESPN 1000, two are on WYLL and one is airing on WIND. The broadcast station for the two games (Feb. 25/26 at Indiana; March 4/5 vs. Purdue) will be announced at a later date.
All Northwestern games during the 2016-17 season can be heard online at WGNradio.com. The pregame show begins 15 minutes prior to the start of each contest.
