Kirchheimer, Vandixhorn Begin Doubles Play at ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. – Doubles play in the qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships begins Monday, and the Wildcats will have Strong Kirchheimer and Ben Vandixhorn competing.
Kirchheimer and Vandixhorn will pair up to take on Walker Duncan and Wayne Montgomery of Georgia at 1:30 p.m. in the Round of 64.
Vandixhorn wrapped up singles play yesterday with a loss in the third round of the pre-qualifying draw to Indiana's Keivon Tabrizi in three sets. Vandixhorn was 2-1 in singles during the tournament.
His doubles partner, Strong Kirchheimer, is coming off a dominant year at the No. 1 spot for Northwestern. Kirchheimer and Fedor Baev teamed up for 19 wins and four victories over ranked opponents. Vandixhorn and Kirchheimer will be playing together for the first time.
Kirchheimer and Konrad Zieba will begin singles play in the main draw later this week.
