Northwestern Baseball Winter Camps

2017 WINTER CAMPS
EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern baseball head coach Spencer Allen has announced the program's winter camp sessions that will be offered to both youth and high school baseball players.
Each winter camp will take place at Trienens Hall and Northwestern's indoor hitting facility, which is located on Northwestern University's campus at 2707 Ashland Avenue, Evanston IL, 60208, adjacent to Rockey and Berenice Miller Park.
Allen and his staff will hold their Father-Son Holiday Camp on Saturday, Dec. 10 with registration opening at 4:45 p.m. This camp is an exceptional opportunity for kids ages 6-12 to develop their skills by working with the coaching staff and student-athletes, while participating with their fathers/guardians.
The purpose of the camp is to give father/guardians a better understanding of the correct teaching strategies in a fun and informative atmosphere for the participants.

The Winter Prospect Camp will take place on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is offered to high school baseball players in grades 9-12. Members of the Northwestern baseball staff will be present and instructing throughout the duration of the camp. Attention is given to proper instruction and drills to enhance the skill level of each individual through personal and group instruction.

Northwestern's Wildcat Hitting Academy, which is open to all baseball players in grades 4-12, will take place on each Sunday from Jan. 25 to Feb. 8. Participants will be instructed in all phases of becoming a better offensive baseball player.
Each week grades 4-8 will run from 6 p.m. - 7p.m. and grades 9-12 will run from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The Winter Underclass High School Prospect Camp will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12 and is open to all baseball players in grades 9-11. The showcase camp will offer instruction in all phases of the game, including hitting, defense, pitching, and base running.
