EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern has announced a busy April competition schedule in preparation for the 2016 regular season. The Wildcats will compete on three weekends this month against regional opponents, including a match at home.
 
We are excited to get on the court for spring competition," said head coach Shane Davis. "We have worked hard in practice, and these matches will be a good way to evaluate where we are. I look forward to the opportunity to see our team in action."
 
Fans will have an opportunity to see the Wildcats on April 16, when they welcome DePaul to Welsh-Ryan Arena. The teams will compete against each other in a series of drills before playing an exhibition match at 1:30 p.m. The match will be five regulation sets, regardless of outcome.
 
Chicago's Big Ten Team begins its spring season with a trip north to Milwaukee, Wis. to face Marquette on April 2. The format will be similar to that of the DePaul scrimmage.
 
Northwestern will also be on the road April 23 for a trip to West Lafayette, Ind. The Wildcats will play in an all-day tournament that wraps up the spring slate.

Saturday, April 2 – at Marquette (Al McGuire Center)
Saturday, April 16 – vs. DePaul (Welsh-Ryan Arena)
Saturday, April 23 – at Purdue (Holloway Gym)
