Moisture Nixes Nonconference Matchup Against UIC

EVANSTON, Ill. -- With the Evanston area taking on moisture like an airplane's wing flying through a cloud, Northwestern's midweek nonconference game scheduled for 4 p.m. today against UIC has been canceled due to field conditions.

The game will not be made up.

Northwestern now travels to No. 15 Minnesota this weekend for a Friday through Sunday series against the Golden Gophers. A full preview and notes package will be released early Thursday.
