EVANSTON, Ill. -- A front with rain and heavy winds passed through the Evanston area mid-day Sunday, canceling Northwestern's series finale against Wisconsin. The game will not be made up. The Wildcats are next in action at home this Friday through Sunday, April 3-5 against Purdue at Sharon J. Drysdale Field!

Northwestern's sweep in Saturday's doubleheader against Wisconsin gave the Wildcats their second-straight Big Ten series sweep to open the conference season. The Wildcats run-ruled the Badgers twice by a combined score of 33-6. NU began the B1G schedule with a sweep on the road at Penn State.
