NEW JERSEY – Three Northwestern wrestlers went 2-0 on Saturday in the Wildcats' matches at Princeton and Rider.
 
Seniors Garrison White and Dominick Malone and sophomore Mitch Sliga won all of their matches to lead the way for Northwestern.
 
Malone was dominant once again on Saturday, winning by tech fall (16-1) in the first match against Princeton's Jake Adkins before pinning Rider's Zach Valcarce in the second dual of the day. He improved to 8-1 so far in the 2015-16 season.
 
Malone has won five matches by fall this year and has earned his team bonus points in seven of nine matches.
 
White was reliable for the 'Cats, winning his first match over Princeton's Pat D'Arcy, 5-0 before receiving a forfeit later in the day. Sliga won both of his matches by major decision to improve to 6-2.
 
Senior Jameson Oster picked up a win over 17th-ranked Jordan Laster of Princeton, 7-6 to increase his record to 5-2.
 
The Wildcats head downstate to take on SIU-Edwardsville next Sunday. The dual will get underway at 7 p.m.
