EVANSTON, Ill. -- Bidding is now live at NUPurplePricing.com for single-game tickets for four Northwestern men's basketball Big Ten home games this season.
Beginning today, fans can visit NUPurplePricing.com and bid for their chance to secure tickets to games against Maryland (Jan. 2), Wisconsin (Jan. 12), Michigan State (Jan. 28) and Illinois (Feb. 13). All fans will pay the same low price, so there is no benefit to waiting to claim the best possible seats. Those who bid at a higher amount than the final sale price will be refunded the difference.
Tickets for Wildcats' Big Ten home games will go on sale December 1.
Debuted during the 2012-13 Northwestern season in conjunction with Northwestern economics professor Jeff Ely and Kellogg School economist Sandeep Baliga, Purple Pricing is a version of a Dutch Auction that ensures all fans pay the lowest market price.
Single-game tickets for Northwestern's nonconference games are currently on sale at NUSports.com or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE.
Northwestern men's basketball season tickets are available by calling 888-GO-PURPLE and remain the only way to guarantee seats for all home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
