EVANSTON, Ill. - The Wildcats will close out their season-opening three-game home tilt when they host Western Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 22. Tip off is set for 2 p.m., and will be streamed on BTNPlus on BTN2Go.

This will be the fifth meeting between the Broncos and the Wildcats in history. The series is tied 2-2, while  NU is 1-0 at Welsh-Ryan. WMU has won the last two meetings including a 64-61 win in the Women's Sport Foundation Classic in 2007, the last matchup between the two squads.

The first 250 fans will receive a Charlie Brown Northwestern t-shirt in honor of Peanuts Day at Welsh-Ryan.SCOUTING THE BRONCOS
The Broncos are 2-1 on the season and are coming off a 65-56 win over Chicago State at University Arena in Kalamazoo, Mich. No. 20 Northwestern will be the second ranked team the Broncos will face this season, as WMU fell to No. 24 Michigan State 78-40 on Sunday, Nov. 15. The Brown & Gold won its home opener against UW-Parkside on 56-49 on Friday, Nov. 13. The Broncos, who are coming off a 20-13 overall, 11-7 MAC record last season were picked third in the West Division behind Eastern Michigan and Ball State. The 2014-15 campaign was one of Western Michigan's most successful in program history, as the team was one victory shy of tying the school record for wins (21) set in 1978.

LAST TIME OUT
Nia Coffey brought down 18 rebounds and secured her 23rd career double-double with 16 points as Northwestern (2-0) rolled past Idaho State (1-1) 72-36 on Thursday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The Wildcats relied on their defensive prowess early in the game, coming up with six steals in the first quarter and holding Idaho State to just five points. The Bengals proved to be a pesky opponent, but Northwestern was able to control the game with a dominant performance on the boards. Sophomore Maya Jonas was a key contributor on the glass, collecting a career high nine rebounds to give the Wildcats a spark off the bench.
