Wildcats Host Annual TYR Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's men's and women's swimming and diving teams welcome five other schools to Norris Aquatics Center this weekend for the annual TYR Invitational.
The Wildcats welcome UIC, Michigan State, Saint Louis, Truman State and Grand Canyon University for this weekend's competition.
Action gets underway at 9 a.m. Friday with the preliminary round followed by finals at 5 p.m. The schedule is the same for Saturday while Sunday's final day of competition features prelims at 9 a.m. and finals starting at 3 p.m.
Northwestern was most recently in action last Saturday when it hosted Wisconsin and suffered a 181.5-117.5 loss. The Wildcats got a sweep of the springboard diving events from Andrew Cramer as he won on both the 1-meter and 3-meter. Almog Olshtein was also a double-winner as he swept the sprint freestyle events. Freshman Carter Page also was victorious in the 1000 free.
