'Cats Reveal 2014 Big Ten Opponents

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, unveiled the opponents that it will face during the 2014 volleyball season Monday.
The Wildcats will play 20 conference matches, including 10 at Welsh-Ryan Arena. With the addition of Maryland and Rutgers to the league next fall, all teams will play seven teams twice and six teams once during the 2014 season.
Big Ten play begins the week of September 22 with the final matches of the regular season scheduled to be played on Saturday, November 29. Northwestern's full slate with dates, times and potential television designations will be released in the future.
