Single-Game Nonconference Tickets Go On Sale Oct. 8

EVANSTON, Ill. - Single-game tickets to nonconference games for the upcoming 2014-15 Northwestern men's basketball season will go on sale this Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 9 a.m.
Tickets will be available for purchase via NUsports.com or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775).
Single-game nonconference tickets cost $22 while groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $15 per ticket. For the Wildcats' exhibition game against McKendree on Nov. 7, tickets are $10 or just $5 apiece for groups of 15 or more.
Following the exhibition contest, Northwestern tips off its regular season Nov. 14 at home vs. Houston Baptist. Other highlights of the nonconference schedule include matchups against Georgia Tech (Dec. 3) in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge as well as crosstown foe UIC (Dec. 22).
Season tickets remain the best way to guarantee a seat for all games at the best value.
Single-game tickets for all Big Ten games will go on sale at a future date to be announced.
Fans are reminded that the Wildcats will be hosting an open scrimmage at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Saturday, Oct. 18. From 2:30-4 p.m., the public can get a preview of the 2014-15 'Cats as they'll scrimmage and compete in contests with fans. Admission is free of charge and precedes that evening's football game between Northwestern and Nebraska at Ryan Field.
