NU Competes in Big Ten Singles Championships

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The 'Cats travel to Minneapolis, Minn. this weekend to participate in the Big Ten Indoor Singles Championships, hosted by the University of Minnesota. Northwestern will be one of nine conference teams competing.
The tournament runs from Friday, Oct. 31 to Sunday, Nov 2, and is the Wildcats' third competition of the fall.
NU has one pair in the doubles draw, which kicks off Friday morning. Seniors Alex Pasareanu and Alberto Zanotti will take on Ohio State's Matt Mendez and Riley Reist at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow.
Singles draws will be released tomorrow morning.
