2015 Big Ten Football Composite Schedule
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's Big Ten Conference football schedules for the next three seasons are set following Monday's announcement by the league of the Big Ten dates and matchups for the 2015 campaign. The eight-game slate includes home dates for the Wildcats against Minnesota (Oct. 3), Iowa (Oct. 17), Penn State (Nov. 7) and Purdue (Nov. 14).
Northwestern's Big Ten road schedule for 2015 begins with a trip to the Big House to face Michigan on Oct. 10 and also calls for visits to Nebraska (Oct. 24) as well as Wisconsin (Nov. 21) and Illinois (Nov. 28) to round out the regular season.
Games against the Nittany Lions and Wolverines represent the two cross-divisional games in 2015 for Northwestern, one of seven West Division squads in the Big Ten's geographical divisional alignment that takes effect for the 2014 season.
Beginning in 2016, each school will play three teams from the other division as part of a nine-game conference schedule.
