LINCOLN, Neb. -- The teams arrived at Bowlin Stadium Saturday afternoon and warmed up as scheduled, but unfortunately the forecast did not do the same. Adhering to the Big Ten's weather policy, Northwestern and No. 25 Nebraska have postponed game three of their B1G opening series until noon CT tomorrow, Sunday, March 24, to allow the current system to pass through.

Already the weather has proven much more mild than the forecast this weekend, and the teams were able to complete a doubleheader on Friday. The hope is that trend holds true through the overnight hours and allows the completion of the series on Sunday.

SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE: The hope did not materialize, and the final game of the series Sunday has been canceled. Weather also will likely play a role in shifting NU's Wednesday doubleheader at Wisconsin, so continue to keep an eye on NUsports.com for the latest info.
