2013 Northwestern Football Tickets On Sale
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern on Wednesday learned its Big Ten Conference football schedules for the 2018 and 2019 campaigns, putting in place its conference slates for the next six seasons.
The 2018 schedule sends Northwestern to conference foe Purdue for the season-opener, marking the first time the Wildcats will kick off a season vs. a Big Ten opponent since traveling to Illinois for the 1984 lid-lifter. Northwestern's season also will feature East Division crossover games against Michigan (home), Michigan State (road) and Rutgers (road).
NU's game in Piscataway represents its first tilt with the Big Ten-newcomer Scarlet Knights since 1991.
In 2019, the Big Ten season gets underway at home against Michigan State and also includes crossover matchups with Ohio State at home and away at Indiana.
With today's announcement, Big Ten schedules for the next six seasons have now been set. Below are Northwestern's conference slates through 2019:
