EVANSTON, Ill. -- Single-match tickets for Northwestern's 13 regular season volleyball contests at Welsh-Ryan Arena are on sale now. In addition to hosting 10 exciting Big Ten matches, NU will host the 31st installment of the Wildcat Classic, Sept. 14-16.

The home schedule opens with the Wildcat Classic and two matches are on tap for Friday, Sept. 14. Northwestern will host Delaware at noon and Saint Louis at 7 p.m. The host 'Cats will finish the tournament against the Western Michigan Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m.
Northwestern opens Big Ten play the following weekend against Wisconsin (Sept. 21) and Minnesota (Sept. 23). The Wildcats host three matches at Welsh-Ryan Arena during the month of October with Penn State (Oct. 5), Ohio State (Oct. 6) and Iowa (Oct. 21) all coming to Evanston.
November will be NU's busiest month at home with five contests on the schedule. Indiana and Purdue come to town on Nov. 2 and 3, respectively. Later, the 'Cats will play three straight at home against Michigan (Nov. 16), Michigan State (Nov. 17) and Illinois (Nov. 21) to close out that portion of the slate.
The Wildcats have several great promotions on tap for the fall. NU will host a pair of volleyball clinics for players in eighth grade and under this season, including one following the match against the Hawkeyes on Oct. 21.
After a successful trial in 2011, the second annual Midnight Madness is scheduled for Nov. 3 when the Wildcats host Purdue. Young fans in eighth grade and under are invited to stick around after the match for team games and prizes with the NU players, free dinner (before the match), an autograph session with the players, and a movie.
