Northwestern Volleyball Season Tickets Now On Sale

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Season tickets for Northwestern's 13 home volleyball matches at Welsh-Ryan Arena are on sale now. In addition to 10 Big Ten matches, NU will host the 31st edition of the Wildcat Classic Sept. 14-16.
Tickets are available now by calling 1-888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775), online by visiting the tickets page on NUsports.com, or mail in this ticket order form (PDF).
The home schedule opens with the Wildcat Classic and two matches are on tap on Friday, Sept. 14. Northwestern will host Delaware at noon and Saint Louis at 7 p.m.
The host Wildcats will finish the tournament against the Western Michigan Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. The unorthodox scheduling is a result of NU's football game against Boston College that is set for Sept. 15 at 2:30 p.m.
Big Ten play opens up the following weekend with matches against Wisconsin and Minnesota on the schedule for Sept. 21 and Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
Northwestern hosts three matches at Welsh-Ryan Arena during the month of October. Penn State comes to town on Oct. 5, while Ohio State follows on Oct. 6. The Wildcats will also host the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday, Oct. 21.
November will be NU's busiest month at home with five contests on the schedule. Indiana and Purdue come to Evanston on Nov. 2 and 3, respectively. The 'Cats play three straight at home against Michigan (Nov. 16), Michigan State (Nov. 17) and Illinois (Nov. 21) to close out the home portion of their 2012 schedule. Individual match tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 1. The regular season begins against Bowling Green on Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Marquette Challenge.
