Josh Graves Garners Second-Team All-Big Ten Honors

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior Joshua Graves received his second career All-Big Ten honor on Thursday when he was named second-team all-conference for the second year in a row. Graves split much of the 2012 dual season playing No. 1 and No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Wildcats.
Graves and doubles partner Spencer Wolf spearheaded a strong NU doubles point all season, going 12-7 at the No. 1 position. The two picked up three big wins against ranked opponents this season, including a major upset of the nations' No. 1 doubles team of Ohio State and Chase Buchanan and Blaz Rola, 8-6, on April 15. On the singles side, Graves won 11 matches on the season, six at the No. 1 spot.
Northwestern junior Sidarth Balaji was recognized as Northwestern's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Michigan's Evan King took home Big Ten Athlete of the Year, while Minnesota's Leandro Toledo earned Freshman of the Year honors.
