Opening Statement...
"I was pleased today. I thought we defended which was good...I gave Reggie [Hearn] a hard time the other night but I thought he came to play today on both ends of the court which was very good to see. I told Alex [Olah] at shootaround to get rid of the game the other night. He was moping a little bit so I told him to go out and keep it simple today. I was happy with the whole team today."
On today's scouting report...
"It was hard today because there was only one game to go off and they were missing a bunch of players, but they pretty much did what we thought they would and we were ready for it. The whole team was very good defensively and doing a lot of talking."
On what the team is doing well...
"It's sort of a work in progress. We had three freshmen in there at one point in the first half. There's going to be ups and down but I like the energy level and everybody is able to contribute. We have more than a six-man rotation and I think that's going to help us down the road."
On Reggie Hearn's play...
"He's played a lot of basketball. It's like Malcolm Gladwell's 10,000 hours thing. He's played that much. His dribbling and his shooting are improved. He's played a lot so he's used to a lot of different situations."
On Kale Abrahamson's play...
"He's just got to get experience. He likes to get the ball and shoot it. I like him to shoot the ball too but he needs to let it come to him more. He was crashing the boards a lot today, which was great. He's going to help us."
