EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern women's soccer team would like to introduce you to its biggest fan, 6-year-old Hallie Munro. Hallie was born with Heterotaxy Polysplenia, a rare genetic disorder that affects the placement of her organs and only four in one million kids have the disorder.

Hallie and her family recently moved to the Chicago area for medical treatment and quickly befriended the Northwestern women's soccer team. While living in Utah, Hallie became close with the Utah women's soccer team, which is coached by NU head coach Michael Moynihan's brother-in-law, Rich Manning. Once Hallie moved to Chicago, Manning put the Munro family in touch with Moynihan and the relationship with the NU women's soccer team has flourished since last spring. Hallie is a frequent visitor at Northwestern practices and was at the team's home opener vs. Marquette, along with the Big Ten Network crew to capture footage for the Big Ten Network.
