Wolf Advances to Main Draw of ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Northwestern senior Spencer Wolf continued his solid start to the 2012-13 season Wednesday as he advanced to the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships with his third win in as many days.

Squaring off against Indiana freshman Sam Monette, Wolf was pushed to the limit as he won in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3.

It was the third qualifying round win for Wolf who advances to face Slim Hamza of Utah on Thursday morning. The winner will take on the victor of the match between 16th-seeded Olivier Borsos of LSU and Hernus Pieters of Georgia.
