Competition Wraps Up at Wildcat Invitational

EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Alberto Zanotti wrapped up competition at the Wildcat Invitational on Sunday by posting his third victory in as many matches over the weekend at Combe Tennis Center.
Zanotti was able to outlast Andrew Cahn of Western Michigan. After dropping the first set, 7-6, Zanotti bounced back to take the second set, 6-2, before winning a tight superbreaker, 10-8.
Senior Sidarth Balaji won his first two matches of the invite by was outlasted by Dan Mamalot of Marquette in two close sets on Sunday, falling 7-5, 6-4.
Northwestern returns to action next weekend as it participates in the Big Ten Singles Tournament in Madison, Wis.
