Wildcats Remain Undefeated Following Day Two at Wildcat Invite

EVANSTON, Ill. - Senior Sidarth Balaji and sophomore Alberto Zanotti remained undefeated after the second day of competition at the Wildcat Invitational at Combe Tennis Center on Saturday.
The duo finished a perfect 3-0 as partners in the tournament as they teamed up to defeat Packowitz and Stark of Marquette 8-6 in the final doubles round.
Both players also moved to 2-0 through the first two doubles rounds with the final round set for Sunday. Balaji cruised to his second-consecutive straight-sets win as he rolled to a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Parlic of Arkansas. He'll face Mamalot of Marquette in the third and final round on Sunday.
Zanotti earned a straight-sets victory as well on Saturday, defeating Hernani of Marquette 6-2, 6-2. Sunday's action pits him against Cahn of Western Michigan.
Final round action gets underway at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Combe Tennis Center.
