EVANSTON, Ill. - ESPN has announced the bracket for the 2011 Charleston Classic, including an opening-round matchup between Northwestern and LSU on Nov. 17. The contest is set to tip off at 2 p.m. Central time and is being televised by ESPNU.
The other game in the Wildcats' half of the bracket features Tulsa and Western Kentucky. The opposite side of the bracket features opening-round matchups between VCU and Seton Hall as well as Georgia Tech and Saint Joseph's.
Should Northwestern win its first contest, its second game would also be televised by ESPNU the following day. The network is also broadcasting the third-place game and championship game on Nov. 20.
NU holds a 2-1 lead in its all-time series with LSU, though the teams haven't met since the Wildcats posted a 98-86 win Dec. 30, 1965 in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Big Ten Conference schedule is tentatively slated to be released next week, while the remainder of Northwestern's nonconference slate will be announced in the very near future as well.
