EVANSTON, Ill. -- Fresh of its first victory of the season in Big Ten play over the Indiana Hoosiers Saturday, the Northwestern Wildcats will take the show on the road for the next two matches where they'll be greeted by a pair of top-25 opponents.
First on the docket Wednesday is the eighth-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions. The four-time defending national champions are 3-1 thus far in conference play following a pair of sweeps over Wisconsin and No. 10 Minnesota last weekend. The match will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network with Mike Wolf and Megan Bower on the call for the second consecutive week.
The road trip concludes early Saturday evening with a tilt against No. 25 Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio at 5 p.m. CT. The Buckeyes are 2-2 through the first two weeks of conference play with wins at Iowa and over No. 10 Minnesota under their belt thus far.
