EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern gets underway with a challenging fall tournament season this weekend at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic hosted by Marquette. Play begins at 9 a.m. Friday as the Wildcats take on representatives from Wisconsin in singles before meeting members of the Marquette squad for doubles competition.

Updated tournament brackets and match results will be available all weekend long at the official website of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Links to live radio coverage are also available on the Marquette Athletics website.

Northwestern begins its fall season with plenty of match experience despite featuring just one senior, Andrew McCarthy. No. 1 singles player and Milwaukee native Joshua Graves enters his junior season ranked No. 86 nationally in the Campbell's/ITA College Tennis and looking to once again lead NU in dual action.

Joining Graves in the junior class are veterans Tobias Reitz and Eric Spector while a crop of four sophomores -- Sidarth Balaji, Chris Jackman, Mark Schanerman and Spencer Wolf, all of whom earned significant playing time as freshmen -- will be expected to contribute to NU's cause from the get-go.

New to the lineup this season will be Raleigh Smith, a high school teammate Jackman's and the winner of National Athlete of the Year award in boys tennis as presented by the National High School Coaches Association.
