Northwestern to Host Fall Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 26

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Tomorrow is report day for Northwestern softball! The Wildcats will begin team activities Sept. 14 with the arrival of the incoming freshman class; the first practice of fall ball is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 15. NU will play in two tournaments during the fall season in addition to an alumni game at Sharon J. Drysdale Field.
Northwestern will host a fall tournament on Sunday, Sept. 26, at Drysdale Field. NU opens the day at 10 a.m. CT against Loyola (Chicago) before the Ramblers play Illinois-Chicago at noon CT. The Wildcats then wrap up the day at 2 p.m. CT against the Flames.
Admission to the tournament is free of charge and, as always, tailgating is permitted in the parking lot located east of the Ryan Field football stadium and just south of Drysdale Field.
On Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 2-3, Northwestern travels to Bloomington, Ill., for the State Farm ICSC tournament involving multiple programs from around Illinois. Click the links below for schedule information in .pdf format.
