Cathedral City Classic Schedule Pushed Back

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. -- In a city that receives only 5.23 inches of annual rainfall a year, today appears to be the day for much of that precipitation. The Cathedral City Classic Saturday schedule has been altered due to morning rain and the threat of further moisture later in the day.
Northwestern's 2:30 p.m. CT contest with Cal Poly will be delayed to a time that as of yet is unknown. Due to several cancellations, Wrigley Field, where NU is scheduled to take on No. 5 UCLA at 10 p.m. CT tonight, currently is running on time.
2:35 p.m. CT UPDATE: Northwestern's game against Cal Poly tentatively is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. CT today.
