NU Goes 1-1, Falls Out of ITA Midwest Regionals

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On the third day of action at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships hosted by Notre Dame, Northwestern's Joshua Graves and Spencer Wolf opened with an 8-6 victory over the Cleveland State duo of Robert Fox and John Haley. But NU fell in its quarterfinal matchup with Ohio State's Matt Allare and Pete Kobelt to end its run at the event.

Graves and Wolf hung tough with the fifth-seeded Buckeye tandem but eventually lost, 8-4.

The Wildcats will return to action next weekend when they head to the Big Ten Singles Championships hosted by Michigan State.
