Big Ten Network to Broadcast from NU This Weekend

Wildcat fans have two chances to be on national television this weekend, as the Big Ten Network brings its `Friday Night Tailgate' and `Big Ten Cookout' shows to the Northwestern University campus.
`Friday Night Tailgate' will be live at Lakeside Field Friday night while the Northwestern soccer teams are in action. The NU men host Drake at 5 p.m., while the women open conference play against Indiana at 7:30. The Big Ten Network will begin taping at approximately 6:30 p.m., near the conclusion of the men's game. Fans are encouraged to wear purple to show their school spirit and stand around the `Friday Night Tailgate' set to watch and participate in the broadcast.
The show will air at 10 p.m. CT Friday on the Big Ten Network.
Saturday morning `Big Ten Cookout' will broadcast live outside Ryan Field at 9 a.m. CT. Melanie Collins and Big Ten Network Chef Ben Walanka host the 30-minute broadcast, which features tailgating tips and treats from the experts and the fans.
'Cats fans are again encouraged to join in the broadcast by gathering around the set to see what Chef Ben is grilling.
