2009 'Cats Caravan Comes to a Close This Weekend

EVANSTON, Ill. - The 2009 edition of the 'Cats Caravan will come to an end this weekend with two final events. On Friday, Northwestern will host their annual Meet the Team Night at Ryan Field on Friday at 6 p.m. and will be on site at the Taste of Highland Park on Sunday. On Friday night, fans can hear from Coach Fitz and go on the field to play games with the entire Wildcat football team. Stop by to see Willie the Wildcat, enter to win tickets to a Wildcats' game and receive free stuff when the `Cats Caravan stops at the Taste of Highland Park on Sunday.
Fans who couldn't make it out to a stop on the 2009 'Cats Caravan can still make it to Ryan Field this fall by taking advantage of several special ticket discounts. Also, younger Wildcat fans can help bring their families to Northwestern events this year by getting involved in one of the many programs in which they can earn free tickets, including the Bound for Success Reading Program, Wildcats 3.0 and Purrfect Attendance.
Whether you win, earn or buy your football tickets this season, be sure to arrive early to enjoy the free pregame fan fest area, Wildcat Alley, which features games, face painting, food, the Marching Band, cheerleaders, Willie the Wildcat, the free Goose Island Beer Garden and much more.
