It's been a crazy first week of spring quarter with early morning practices and adjusting to my new class schedule as well. On top of that I just got done taking the GRE for graduate school and it was a huge relief getting that out of the way. After film study and the lift I went back to my house and ate, then hopped on the "L" and went downtown to take the test. When I got back, Kevin Frymire and I went to visit (Jeremy) Ebert to see how he was doing after his surgery (hip). Jeremy was doing well and we were all glad to hear that his surgery went just fine. After hanging out with Ebert, I went back to my place to make some spaghetti and had my buddy Mike Capocci over for dinner.

I'm looking forward to watching some of the spring sports compete this weekend. I'm planning on catching the softball games this Saturday after practice. It's also always fun to go watch our four-time defending national championship lacrosse team play as well! Spring is definitely the best time of year. Spring means warm weather, spring football and pro baseball games! I'm excited to go watch some Cubs and Sox games, but I have to admit my allegiance lies up north in Milwaukee with the Brewers. You're probably thinking in your head that I only cheer for the Brewers because of my last name ... well, I can't really argue against that but hey you would cheer for a team, too, if you shared the same name!

Ricky Weina and I are planning on making a few games up in Milwaukee this spring or during the summer. Until then I got to get some rest for Saturday's practice. It's our first day in full pads and we got to have a much better practice than we did on Thursday.

Go Cats!
