EVANSTON, Ill. — Throughout the 2009 NU football and men's basketball seasons, American Family Insurance has been providing unforgettable gameday experiences for their Families of the Game. Children have been all smiles as the crowd cheers them and their families onto Ryan Field and the court at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
"It was great being the Family of the Game and being able to go down to the field at Ryan Field to be with Willie the Wildcat and the teams," said Janet Swanson of Glenview, Ill. "It was a great day we'll always remember. We love Northwestern!"
With the action shifting to Welsh-Ryan Arena and NU basketball, fans have six opportunities to come out and be the American Family Insurance Family of the Game. They include:
Feb. 2 vs. Michigan
Feb. 7 vs. Indiana
Feb. 14 vs. Minnesota
Feb. 17 vs. Penn State
Feb. 25 vs. Iowa
March 3 vs. Chicago State
Wildcat fans can sign up online at NUsports.com to become a Family of the Game at upcoming Big Ten basketball games. Winners receive four game tickets, complementary parking and commemorative photos of the game ball presentation.
