Northwestern Announces Non-Conference Game Times, TV Designations

2008-09 Northwestern Men's Basketball Schedule
EVANSTON, Ill. -
For the second consecutive season, every Northwestern men's basketball home game at Welsh-Ryan Arena is being nationally televised by the Big Ten Network or is being streamed online live at BigTenNetwork.com.
Each of the Wildcats' first three contests can be viewed online free of charge, including the exhibition game against Robert Morris (Ill.) College Nov. 6 and the regular season opener against Central Arkansas Nov. 19.
NU's first appearance on the Big Ten Network comes Dec. 1 when the Wildcats host UC Riverside. Other non-conference games to be televised on BTN include home contests against DePaul Dec. 6 and UMKC Dec. 15.
Match-ups against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Nov. 19), SMU (Dec. 23) and Chicago State (Feb.4) are also among the contests set to be steamed online.
As was previously announced, the game against Florida State as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will be broadcast on ESPN2.
Tip times for the road game at Stanford (Dec. 20) and the home contest against SMU (Dec. 23) are still to be determined. Be sure to check NUsports.com for updates as they become available.
