Wildcat Coaches' Caravan Hits the Streets This Summer

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern fans will have several chances to meet Wildcat coaches this summer as the Wildcat Coaches' Caravan will be driving around Chicagoland to visit fans of all ages throughout the summer. The first stop is the Brookfield Zoo at noon Sunday, May 25, where fans will have a chance to meet head coach Pat Fitzgerald.
From noon to 4 p.m., fans will have a chance to get their pictures taken with Fitzgerald, NU's Willie the Wildcat and the Wildcats' last three Big Ten championship trophies (1995, 1996, 2000), as well as pick up Wildcat giveaways and earn chances to win tickets to a Wildcat football game this fall.

The Wildcats will be at the Brookfield Zoo with flagship radio station, WGN (720 AM), and fans can participate in interactive games and win more prizes, compliments of WGN Radio. All Wildcat football games are broadcast on WGN Radio.

Be on the lookout for more chances to meet the Wildcats this summer. Dates are being added every week. The Coaches' Caravan events are free, except Brookfield Zoo where admission prices do apply for the event on May 25.

May 25 -- Noon to 4 p.m. -- Brookfield Zoo
July 4 -- Noon to 4 p.m. -- Ryan Field Parking Lot
July 4 -- 2 p.m. -- Evanston 4th of July Parade
July 27 -- 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. -- Mullen's on Clark (Meet Coach Fitzgerald before he sings the seventh-inning stretch at the Chicago Cubs game)
