EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern travels to Beaumont, Texas to face the Lamar Cardinals at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats (6-9, 0-3) resume play after enjoying a two-week break from dual action.

In its last match, Northwestern was defeated 7-0 by the Wisconsin Badgers in Madison. Lamar (5-10) lost its previous dual match 6-1 in a Big Ten contest against Iowa.

This will mark as only the second meeting between the two teams in history, with Northwestern holding a 1-0 series advantage.

The Wildcats continue to look for more road success, with its only victory this season a 6-1 triumph over Ball State.

The doubles duo of Alex Sanborn (Houston, Texas/Kinkaid) and Marc Dwyer (Peachtree City, Ga./Independent Study H.S.) continue to play well at the No. 1 position. In the previous dual, they defeated the 37th-ranked pair from Wisconsin. Sanborn and Dwyer are now the 55th-ranked doubles team in the nation.

Northwestern's final seven duals will come against Big Ten competitors. The first of those matches will take place at the Combe Tennis Center at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 29 against 12th-ranked Illinois.
