EVANSTON, Ill. - No. 68 Northwestern faces its second consecutive Big Ten foe as it travels to face the 34th-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions Sunday at 10 a.m. Coming off a tough conference loss at Michigan, the 'Cats look to improve on their 6-6 overall record in duals while Penn State will try to open its Big Ten season with a win.

Penn State, which currently holds a 3-5 record, is also looking to snap a three-match losing streak. All three losses have come at the hands of teams ranked in the top 12 nationally.
Sophomore captain Alex Sanborn leads the way for the Wildcats with a 9-3 singles record, including a combined 8-1 record at No. 2 and No. 3. The No. 2 doubles team of Peter Rispoli and Alexander Thams also holds a 9-3 record and has won four matches in a row.
The 'Cats return home to Combe Tennis Center for their next dual to face 30th-ranked Vanderbilt Tuesday at 7 p.m.
