FAN INFORMATION FOR NORTHWESTERN VS. OHIO STATE
(Bank of America Day)
• Saturday's game is a sellout
• Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early for this game
• If you are taking CTA (El) transportation to the game, leave early; the CTA will be offering expanded service with larger trains before and after the game
• East and West Parking Lots will open at 7 a.m. (Sorry, no exceptions)
• Greet the NU team at WALK with Us on Walker Way at 8:30 a.m.
• Wildcat Alley (Family Fun Fest) on the baseball field north of the stadium will open at 9 a.m.
• Ryan Field gates will open at 9:30 a.m.
• Kickoff at 11 a.m.
Unless you hold a season parking pass or a handicapped parking pass, you will NOT be allowed to park in Ryan Field's East and West Parking Lots (located at Ashland Avenue and Central Street in Evanston). In addition, street parking immediately around the stadium is limited, and authorities are vigilant about towing violators.
The following directions will lead you to Northwestern's campus and the link below identifies the FREE parking lots on campus from which FREE shuttle buses can take you to Ryan Field. Shuttle buses begin running approximately two hours before kickoff and run until one hour after the conclusion of the game.
Northwestern Football Gameday Directions
DIRECTIONS TO RYAN FIELD:
From the North:
Take I-94 to Skokie Blvd/ Route 41 Exit. Exit ramp becomes Skokie Boulevard. Continue south to Lake Avenue (second traffic light). Turn left on Lake Avenue and proceed east to Sheridan Road and continue south to football parking lots.
From the South:
Take I-90/94. Where I-90 and I-94 split, take I-94 toward Milwaukee. Follow I-94 to Dempster Street east and proceed east on Dempster Street to Chicago Avenue. Turn left onto Chicago Avenue and proceed north to football parking lots.
Alternate Route from the South:
Take Lake Shore Drive north to Sheridan Road. Continue north on Sheridan Road until you arrive at the Evanston Campus. Proceed to the football parking lots.
From the West/ O'Hare Airport:
Take I-55, I-88 or I-90 to I-294. Follow I-294 north to Dempster Street east. Proceed east on Dempster Street to Chicago Avenue. Turn left on Chicago Avenue and proceed north to football parking lots.
Alternate Exit from I-294 and I-94:
Take Touhy Avenue east and proceed to McCormick Boulevard. Turn left on McCormick Boulevard and proceed north to Dempster Street. Turn right on Dempster Street and proceed east to Forest Avenue. Turn left on Forest Avenue and proceed north to football parking lots.
• Due to Evanston construction and a sold-out game, traffic is expected to be heavier than normal, so please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive at the stadium. Public transportation is also strongly encouraged.
The CTA Purple Line stops at Central Street where you can walk three blocks west on Central Street to the stadium. The Metra Union Pacific North Line from downtown Chicago and Kenosha, Wis., stops at Central Street where you can walk three blocks east on Central to the stadium.
• We would also like to remind you that the following items are PROHIBITED in Ryan Field: Umbrellas, alcohol, food, noisemakers, coolers, video cameras, large lens cameras and thermoses.
• Will Call opens at 8 a.m. Will Call is defined as tickets left by the Athletic Department, tickets purchased via the mail or phone orders that were not mailed. Will Call does not accept drop-off tickets. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, Will Call lines may be long!
• In consideration of our neighbors, the East and West parking lots will close approximately three hours after the game.
