WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- No. 8 Northwestern's Saturday contest against Purdue has been canceled due to the cold weather and strong winds currently gripping the Midwest. Though the forecast called for intermittent sun and temperatures to warm up slightly, it was not deemed enough to delay the game and the decision was made to immediately call the contest. No makeup date will be scheduled.
Northwestern returns to action at noon CT tomorrow, Sunday, April 8, at Indiana. NOTE: The game time is a change from the original 11 a.m. CT start. The doubleheader has been pushed back an hour to allow for warmer temperatures.
