EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's nonconference game versus Eastern Michigan, originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, has been moved to Friday, Oct. 19 at Detroit's Ford Field, home of the NFL's Detroit Lions and site of the 2006 Super Bowl. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT).
The game is the fourth edition of the Collegiate Clash, an annual game involving host Eastern Michigan and a selected opponent. In previous years, the Eagles have played Central Michigan, Western Michigan and Navy in Collegiate Clash contests.
This will be the Wildcats' second visit to Ford Field as they played Bowling Green there in the 2003 Motor City Bowl.
Last year, Northwestern defeated Eastern Michigan 14-6 in the first meeting between the two schools.
