  • Northwestern has now won five straight over Purdue and six of the last seven. The five-game win streak is the longest NU win streak in the series history.

  • The win gave the Wildcats their first two-game season sweep over the Boilers since the 1951 season.

  • Head coach Bill Carmody is now 6-4 all-time against Purdue and 2-0 against head coach Matt Painter.
  • Northwestern is 2-0 in overtime games this season. The 'Cats defeated Delaware State 61-54 in overtime back on Dec. 3 in Evanston.

  • Vedran Vukusic recorded season-high with 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting. The 12 made field goals were a career best. Vukusic scored 20 after halftime, including eight in the overtime period.

  • Vukusic scored 57 points (28.5 ppg) in two wins over Purdue this season.

  • The 12 field goals by Vukusic were the most by any Wildcat in the Bill Carmody era.

  • With 29 points, Vukusic passed Shon Morris (1984-88; 1,407) for seventh place on the all-time Northwestern scoring list. He now has 1,422 career points.

  • Vukusic made his team-best 77th-consecutive start dating to the start of the 2003-04 season.

  • Mohamed Hachad recorded a season-high 20 points, 13 in the first half. He also connected on a career-high four 3-point field goals.

  • Northwestern had two players reach 20 points and had four in double figures for the second time this season.

  • Craig Moore (10 points) hit double figures in scoring for the fourth time this season and connected on multiple three-pointers for the 10th time this season. He also hit the game-tying three with less than one second on the clock to send the game into overtime.

  • Tim Doyle scored 10 points off the bench, his best outing since scoring 20 in the earlier win over Purdue Jan. 4 in Evanston.

  • The Wildcats connected on a season-high 12 three-point field goals.

  • The nine turnovers by the Wildcats is the second-fewest of the season and the 35th time the Wildcats have committed fewer than 10 turnovers in the Bill Carmody era.
