  • Mohamed Hachad had his best offensive game since returning from an appendectomy, tying his season-high with 17 points.

  • Hachad recorded a career-high with nine free throws (9-of-12). His previous high was seven last season against Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament (3/11/05).

  • Vedran Vukusic finished with 15 points, marking just the second time this season the senior has not led the team in scoring. He has scored in double figures each game this season and connected on multiple three-pointers for the 10th time this year.

  • Vukusic also extended his string of consecutive starts to 75, best on the team.

  • Northwestern outrebounded Michigan 23-20. Michigan shot a blazing 65 percent for the game, including 76 percent in the first half.

  • Northwestern shot 54 percent (12-of-22) in the first half and 50 percent (5-of-10) from three-point range.

  • Northwestern held Michigan to just one free throw attempt (1-for-1) for the game. It marked the third time this season a Northwestern opponent has not attempted a free throw in a half and the 16th time in the Bill Carmody era.

  • Tonight was the 150th meeting between the two schools. Michigan leads 98-52.
