Wildcats Headed to Athens, Ga. For NCAA Regionals

EVANSTON, Ill. - The `Cats are back.
After a two-year absence, Northwestern has once again made the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats (12-12 overall, 6-4 Big Ten) will compete in the regional portion of the tournament in Athens, Ga. Their first-round match is slated for Saturday, May 14 against Clemson.
The Tigers are 24-10 this year and have been ranked as high as 14th.
Northwestern last competed in the NCAA Tournament back in 2002, suffering a first-round loss to Indiana State, 4-0.
