EVANSTON, Ill. - After notching its second Big Ten win this past Sunday, Northwestern (7-10, 2-3 Big Ten) travels to No. 57 Minnesota and Iowa Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10. This weekend marks the first of two-consecutive conference road trips for the Wildcats.

At noon on Saturday, NU will compete at Minnesota's Baseline Tennis Center, where the Gophers (5-8, 3-1) have won their last two matches and are 4-1 overall this spring.

Five Gophers have double-figure win totals this year, with their No. 1 player Avery Ticer leading the way at 17-6 overall, 10-2 dual and 4-0 in the conference. Ticer is ranked 34th in the country and has won his last four matches in straight sets. He also teams with Adrien Debreyne to form the nation's No. 36 doubles duo.

Northwestern will play at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Iowa (9-7, 1-4), where junior Adam Schaechterle (Oconomowoc, Wis./Kettle Moraine) could face his twin brother Aaron.

Aaron and J.P. Ritchie are a fixture at No. 3 doubles, where Adam has seen some time this year alongside senior Justin Hoeveler (Ross, Calif./The Branson School). The brothers have never played each other in the college ranks.

Sophomore Willy Lock's (Lima, Peru/Markham College) 9-4 dual mark at the No. 4 slot leaves him with a .692 winning percentage at that position - the second-best in the Big Ten. A win this weekend will give Lock 20 overall victories on the year.

Next week, the `Cats are again on the road, at No. 2 Illinois and Purdue.
